You may remember when we moved from Gorton and opened in the Bull’s Head in Reddish back in February 2016. We had Gordon Burns do the opening and Tameside Radio did an outside broadcast on the day.
Even the Manchester Evening news covered it.
We loved our time at the Bull’s Head in Reddish, but after six years we outgrew it and we needed to move somewhere bigger.
One of the reasons we loved the Bull’s Head so much is we’re local people. The Bull’s Head is an iconic building in Reddish that all we locals have memories of. We’ll miss being in the Bull’s Head.
I lived in Reddish most of my life, I went to Reddish Vale School many years ago, and even as a child, my parents had a business in Reddish.
If you are old enough to remember that shop above looking like that, that was us too. That photo is from about 1978. It’s still a shop today on the corner of Asquith Street.
So in line with the idea that the apple seldom falls too far from the tree, we wanted to stay pretty close to Reddish. So our move has only taken us from SK5 to SK6, a few minutes up the road to Bredbury.

One of the things moving into bigger premises has allowed us to do is expand our offerings a little.
